    CIDOC-L --> CIDOC has established a museum documentation discussion group (CIDOC-L). Launched during the 1994 conference, CIDOC-L is an electronic forum for the discussion of museum documentation issues. To subscribe to the list, send a message 'subscribe CIDOC-L firstname lastname' to listserv@nrm.se.

    ICOM-CC distribution list --> The ICOM Conservation Committee (ICOM-CC) has set up a discussion list. To subscribe, send a message 'subscribe ICOM-CC yourfirstname yourlastname' to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com.

    Museum-L --> General information about museum issues can be obtained from the Museum-L discussion list, maintained by John Chadwick, New Mexico Museum of Natural History. The list generates around 50 messages a day. To join, send an e-mail message to: 'listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com' with the text 'subscribe museum-l firstname lastname'. The list archives are also accessible.

    MUSWEB-L --> Launched in April 1996, the Museum Web Development List, MUSWEB-L, is a forum for the discussion of all issues related to the development of World Wide Web services at museums. This includes administrative concerns in the maintenance of Web sites as well as technical matters relating to the authorship and transfer of hypertext documents. Additional network services commonly accessed from the Web environment using mailto, ftp, and gopher URLs also lie within the scope of the list. This includes technical issues which do not do not relate directly to the Web, such as the maintenance of Gopher and FTP services, and e-mail distribution lists. MUSWEB-L is being provided to serve those who are professionally involved with the maintenance of Internet services at museums. To subscribe to the list, send a message 'subscribe MUSWEB-L firstname lastname' to listserv@nrm.se.

    Conservation discussion list --> Established in 1987, the Conservation list covers all aspects of the work of conservators. To subscribe to the list, send an e-mail request to Walter Henry (whenry@lindy.stanford.edu).

    MCN-L --> MCN-L, the Museum Computer Network discussion list, was launched in November 1995. Contact Michele Devine (mdevine@cni.org) for MCN details or Kathy Jones-Garmil for MCN-L information. Participation is restricted to MCN members.

    MCG-L --> The UK Museum Computer Group has set up a discussion list, as a forum for the discussion of the use of computers in museum contexts.
