Status	Definition
AT BINDERY	Item was received by the Library and sent to the Bindery. Books remain at the Bindery generally for four weeks from the sending date.
AT MEND Retrieve with green form	Item is in process of being repaired. Fill out a green "In Process/Bindery Request" form at Circulation for rush processing.
AVAILABLE	Item should be in the library and on the shelf.
BILLED	Item is overdue long enough for a patron to be billed for its replacement.
CIRCDESK HOLD	Item has been received and is being held for another patron at the Circulation Desk.
DUE 00-00-00	Item has been received and is checked out to another patron.
DUE 00-00-00OFF-CAMPUS	Item is checked out through ConnectNY.
IN PROCESS Retrieve with green form	Item has been received but is not yet fully processed. Fill out green "In Process/Bindery Request" form at Circulation for rush processing.
IN TRANSIT	Item was returned to a different location from the one where it was originally checked out, e.g., Art Library book returned to Main Library.
LAST YEAR MSG	Item was declared missing in the previous academic year.
MARKING ROOM Retrieve with green form	Item is in process of being pamphlet-bound. Fill out green "In Process/Bindery Request" form at Circulation for rush processing.
MISSING	Item was declared missing within the current academic year.
MISSING--PD	Item was lost by patron who paid replacement fee.
MUSLIB WORKRM	Item has been received and is being cataloged or bound in Music Library.
ON ORDER	Item has been ordered by Acquisitions.
ON SEARCH--CAT	Technical Services Department is searching for this item.
ONLINE	Document is available online. URL is available in the catalog record.
ORDER CANCELLED	Item was ordered, but publisher has indicated book is no longer available.
PRIOR MISSING	Item has been missing for two or more academic years.
UNDER CONSIDERATION	Item was received on approval and is awaiting review by faculty and librarians in the library Approvals Room.
